4 New Post Below

I am trying to catch this blog up in a hurry! I still need to do a pregnancy update {what an adventure it has been}. I have just completed my second stay in the hospital for Parvo B19 (Fifth's Disease) that transferred to Clarke. More to come. Anyway, while the kids are at the lake I caught the blog up this much. Coming soon..pregnancy update and update from this coming weekend at the lake for Memorial Day.

Bennett turns 6!!

I cannot believe Bennett is now 6! He had a great pool party this past Saturday. I was so, so glad the weather cooperated. We woke up to crazy thunderstorms that lasted all morning long. Luckily the rain stopped and the kids all enjoyed the pool, water slide and being outside!

Cute invite! And lots of beach balls at the party!
Dru wore his Hawaiian shirt to cheer Bennett up who was a little worried about the weather.
Simms, Cope and a very obvious Clarke {almost 33 weeks here}
Loving the pool. Hopefully we will be swimming by the end of the summer.
While Cope preferred the water slide.
Always together.
Delicious and adorable party food. I did sneak a cupcake after checking my sugar..shhhh.

There is the 6 year old birthday boy!
This girlie had a great time.

Happy 6th Birthday, Bennett!

Mother's Day 2013

We spent Mother's Day at the lake. We were only there for a night but had such a good time. Saturday night we celebrated Dr. Donny turning 60 {which I have no pictures of, probably because Cope was acting like he was catching the stomach virus Simms had a few days before} and then the next day we celebrated Mother's Day with brunch at SpringHouse. It was a fun, short stay. Here is the one pic I have of me and my little family on Mother's Day. What a blessing it is to be mama to these 2 {soon to be 3} kiddos.

Simms' Dance Recital 2013

Simms' dance recital this year was wonderful. She did such a good job! I could tell she had a little stage fright, but that has to be pretty intimidating to run out on a stage in front of several hundred people. She loves dance and thankfully wants to continue taking next year! I was leaving it up to her! She danced her little heart out!

Our beautiful ballerina before we left for the recital!
She was so excited, especially to be wearing a little makeup.

The pictures I got of her actually dancing did not turn out well at all..bummer. But here are a couple:

I love this picture of her!
Simms, Addison & Abby..they will all be at FRA together next year
My favorite thing after all of her recitals..when she sees her Daddy and he gives her flowers.

Love this.
So proud!

And so happy!

Simms was so happy to have Mae Mae there. And Gigi, Minnie & Ninnie & Cope!

We were all so proud of her! After the recital we headed to the lake to celebrate Dr. Donny's birthday and Mother's Day!

Simms' Last Day of Preschool & Graduation

Simms had her last day of preschool at the Lime Light on May 10 & her graduation was that night. I was so glad she was able to participate in both because the Wednesday night {all night} and most of Thursday morning she was battling her very first stomach virus. Yikes. It was a bittersweet day. I have loved this school so very much. It has been the perfect place for our little girl and I am going to miss it so, so much. Her teachers there, Miss Cyd & Miss Margaret, will always be special to me, and I know will always have a place in Simms' heart.
Her graduation from Preschool was that night at First Baptist. The program was so, so precious and went through each month of the year, with highlights given of what they did at school that month, and songs to go along with the months. The sweetest month had to be December when those precious kids reenacted the Christmas story as it was narrated. Simms was Mary and I don't think there was a dry eye in the church.

Before leaving for her graduation..she has grown so much this year

Opening a little gift from mommy & daddy

Performing songs from August or Septemeber. They had the cutest, glitteriest props. Loved them.

Sweet daughter of ours..love her so.
Shy girl..when her teacher was telling "All About Simms"
Simms as Mary as they reenacted the Christmas Story
Little Rascals
Simms with 2 of her favorite friends, Emersyn & Addison

It was a wonderful program to mark the ending of a wonderful 2 years at the Lime Light. After graduation we went to eat then came home to rest up because another big event was the next afternoon..Simms' Dance Recital!
