A Big Saturday in May~ Spring Dance Recital & FRA's Daddy/Daughter Dance

Simms was very excited for her dance recital! Her group did tap in this recital, which thrilled her to no end! She did an amazing job tapping to, "Hey, Mr. Postman!" I can't believe this was her 3rd Spring recital at ASOD!

Two hours after her recital she and Dru had to be at the school for their first Daddy/Daughter dance. I really don't think I've seen Simms this excited about anything! She even picked out her own dress (can't believe I allowed that!)  She was so proud to be going with HER daddy! Dru said she did dance with him a few times. Sweet memories.

April 2014 ~ A Busy Month

April was busy! Between Spring Break, Dru's birthday, Easter we had lots going on!

**I've been catching the blog up on the iPad and haven't figured out how to edit pic size. I hate it but some of my pics get cut off.

We went to the beach with the Kirks for Spring Break. It was a great trip. Mt parents went down with me, Sissy and all the kids on Tuesday and the hubbys joined us on Thursday, which happened to be our 9 year anniversary!

Clarke's first time on the beach. She did great!

Simms loves the beach! Hope this pic doesn't get cut off. I'm noticing a trend with that.

My sweet boy.

Going crabbing.

9 wonderful years married to him.

My Birdie.

These 2 are best friends.

My heart. All 4 of them.

Precious.

Simms has enjoyed another year of dance!

9 month checkup!

Delivering doughnuts for church!

My beautiful daughters on Palm Sunday

Celebrating daddy's birthday!

I always want to remember how she lays on my chest.

Miss Tina is the best Kindergarten teacher!

Cope went to A-Day the day of our church egg hunt. So it was just the girls!

The Easter Bunny visited!

Their Easter finest!

Clarke's first Easter!

Our family on a windy morning

We did our annual March of Dimes walk with Dru's company. After all we went through with Clarke, their research and mission meant so much to me. I was so thankful to be walking with a healthy baby.

And we ended the month with my cousin Hillary's wedding. It was a fun night out for us!

March 2014

March was a pretty low-key month for us. It was nice to have a month where we just took it easy!

Clarke moved out of the infant tub and into a tub seat! We take several baths a day now. She loves playing in the water!

My 3 precious kiddos before church one Sunday!

Clarke spent her first Sunday in the church nursery. I was sad.

Simms was recognized as the only kindergartner to triple her AR points. She was surprised at a special celebration and won a t-shirt. So proud of her!

She's getting so growny. But sweet. She does have her sassy moments though.

This precious baby, that we are all obsessed with, turned 9 months. Time has flown.

I got this picture from Cope's teacher as proof he actually napped at school:
(I hope it doesn't get cut off. It's a big pic)

And Cope got a tetanus for a rusty nail making a nasty hole in his hand. All boy.

Simms had another cavity-free dentist appointment!

Clarke started eating more varieties of food.

We went to the lake one weekend. Clarke had her first sink bath there. Lots of babies bathed in that sink!

She was proud of her teeth and her new bonnet that came just in time for our April beach trip!
