My First Blog

Well, I finally decided to create a blog to keep everyone updated on our lives. As you all know, Dru and I were forever changed on November 1, 2007 when we welcomed our sweet baby girl Martha Simms Goodwin into our lives. We loved her before we knew her, but were not prepared for how great that love was really going to be once we heard that sweet cry and saw that beautiful face. Our lives have been so filled with joy over the past 7 months, and we are just in amazement at how much Simms has added to our lives! It has been such a wonderful experience to share with Dru and to watch him as a daddy. He is so wonderful with her and she loves him so much. Not to mention she looks just like him! I just finished my 3rd and final year of teaching so that I can stay at home with Simms and be a full time mommy, and I am so grateful to Dru for allowing me to do that! I can't think of a better job! I will post pictures as I figure this out, I am not that good with computers, so bear with me!
