Our sweet Simms is 17 months old today! We really enjoy this stage with her~ she is turning into quite the little toddler!! Some days I look at her and it almost takes my breath away at how grown up she is now! I guess it should make me feel better that she STILL drinks a bottle! (Not really, but we are working on it still!) She is so vocal now, and it is such fun for us to try and decide what she is saying, especially when she talks in "Simms Sentences." Some of her new words that she says over and over are balloon, (she loves picking out balloons in the store,) moon, car, Ebbie (Ellie), BB (Bennett).

It is so fun for us to watch her do her "newest" thing, which is to read books out loud. She is so serious when she is reading. Her favorite books are the Karen Katz books, Where is Baby's.... (Birthday cake, Easter Eggs, etc.). She opens up each flap and says, "No"..and then starts babbling her sentences until the last flap, in which she says, "Yay" and begins clapping.

Her eating has gotten much better, but still, some days are MUCH better than others. But we are making improvements!

She is just such a joy to us, and we are so thankful for her little life and the sweet little girl that she is becoming! Happy 17 months Sweet Simms!
