A Play Date & A Big Boy Bed!

Simms had a play date last week with her favorite friend in the world, Addison. She had been telling me for weeks she wanted Addison to come over when Cope WAS NOT here so they could have a "girls allowed" play date (she is obviously mixing up girls only/no boys allowed). So we did just that. My mom had Cope most of the day, and after school and ballet I brought these two excited girls home to play..

they were so neat and clean doing that. Addison wouldn't eat the pepperonis and Simms wouldn't eat the cheese. So funny.

Painting pumpkins (and glittering them in Simms' case) was what they wanted to do most!

Simms had such a good time with her sweet little friend. I am so thankful that she already has little girls that she loves that are so sweet and from wonderful families.

And in other news..we have an almost 3 year old in a big boy bed upstairs! He is doing great. He's been in the big bed almost a week and we haven't had a problem with him sleeping in it yet! In fact I have had to wake him up almost every morning! Now that we know he does ok in it I hope to put some twin beds in his room. For now he has a mattress and box springs on the floor :)
