Preparing for her future...

...at Auburn that is! Simms got these adorable books at Christmas from her Uncle Taylor. We read them every morning when we have story time. The first book has all of Auburn's landmarks in it, including buildings on campus and the War Eagle book has all of the chants and cheers and has War Eagle on every page with Aubie. We are hoping that come Saturday Simms will not be afraid of Aubie because we are hoping to get a picture of them together!







And who better to teach Simms the cheers than this cheerleader? Yes, you can find me many a morning saying the cheers to Simms using this doll. We have fun with her!



As for the toy pile in the background....I figured that if I had all of Simms' toys out at her disposal that she wouldn't want to climb the chair, bed, changing table, etc...well I was wrong..Here she is swinging from the bed like a little monkey...




And yes, those are pillows lining the changing table...call me over protective!
