To drink out of these-
I know, I know. Many of you are probably gasping. Yes, Simms is almost 15 months and still on the bottle. This Nuby brand of cups is the only brand that I haven't tried, and tomorrow is the day! At least tomorrow is the day to start trying to break her of the bottle. I KNOW (from experience) that it is going to take much more than a day. Yes, that is right. We have tried this before and I have given in. Then, the day that I was going to try again, with Dru as backup, we had to unexpectedly rush his sweet horse Preacher to the vet school, where he was later put to sleep. (That is my excuse for that attempt). Now, my incentive to MAKE her take the cup this week is that NEXT MONDAY she goes for her 15 month checkup and I really don't want to get in trouble with the peditrician. Remember, in November she told me my goal by the next visit=No Bottles! OOPS!! Say a prayer, or many, and any words of advice are GREATLY appreciated! And an added bonus..some adorable pictures that I found on my camera of our sweet nephew (and Simms' best friend) Bennett. I am not sure when they are from..He is beautiful!!

Good luck with the Nuby! That's what we use and Sipsey took right to them. We use the ones with handles on them, but we have some like the ones you pictured. I need to transition to those soon. The spouts get really worn after babies chew on them and start POURING out milk after awhile (like all over the floor when Sipsey tips them over!). I think they sell the spouts separately, but you have to order them online. I hope Simms does well!
The Nuby ones worked for us too! I second everything your friend Lauren says. Sophie did much better than Christopher did, but I think that's b/c she's the second and sees her brother drinking out of sippy cups. Simms is beautiful and I love seeing photos of her! I like to think Sophie looks like of like Simms, but chubbier. (big grin, smocked dress, just enough curl in her hair) Is that bad? Maybe it's just b/c they have some of the same clothes. Good luck with the new cups!!
That's hysterical about they each dress Bennett! And, if we have a boy I'm afraid that will be our problem. ha ha! I love Simms dress, precious!!
