Introducing....

our healthy son, Copeland Evans Goodwin. Praise the Lord that everything looked well on the ultrasound. Cope, as he will be called, was measuring right on track. According to my doctor, he looked perfect! Our technician wouldn't tell us anything as she did she did the ultrasound, and then told me my doctor would have the results in a day or two. So of course I've been anxiously waiting for that phone call! He was so precious as she did the ultrasound, and kept rubbing his head and face with his hands! We feel so blessed. Dru and I had a wonderful, early morning yesterday, doing the ultrasound and then my blood work. Unfortunately, I did not pass my one hour glucose test. So of course I have to do the 3 hour next Wednesday. It would be wonderful to pass the 3 hour, but since I did have gestational diabetes with Simms, I feel like I'll have it again. Cope is worth it all though!

About the name, Copeland Evans. Copeland is Dru's dad's middle name, and Evans is my mom's maiden name. This is a very special name to us and we feel so blessed to be having a son to give this name to. And can I tell you that I still grin from ear to ear every time I think that we are having a boy?
