22 months & the Beach

We have a 22 month old! I cannot believe it! 2 more months and Simms will be 2! It is absolutely amazing to me how fast time flies! Simms is a constant joy in our lives and we feel beyond blessed to call her our daughter. Now don't get me wrong, she has her moments, quite a few of them, daily, but just as she is learning to grow up, we are learning as her parents as well, and that is a role Dru and I both cherish! I am so thankful that Dru has made it possible for me to be at home with Simms. I pray that I use my time at home with her wisely, and I am so thankful for our days together. Happy 22 months sweet, precious daughter!
We just got back from the beach also. We had a great time. Would you believe that we basically only took pictures one day that we were there? These kiddos were much more active this trip, and there was very little time for photo opportunities. Of course we made many wonderful memories, ate like we should not have, and cannot wait to go back! The weather was just perfect! ( Pictures at the end of this post)
And an update from my gestational diabetes test (3 hour glucose tolerance test): I PASSED! I felt like I'd won the lottery (well not really), but I seriously was so suprised by this news! All of my levels were good! I will have to be re-tested again in about 6 weeks, but that is still 6 weeks of normal eating, and no finger pricking and non-stress tests! Most importantly, it means that my body is behaving the way it is supposed to, which means it is a healthy place for Cope and I praise the Lord for that!
Don't know how your households are holding up, but the Goodwin house is ready for Saturday! We cannot wait for Auburn's first game! Of course we will be there bright and early Saturday morning, and I am so excited about Simms' outfit! My favorite ETSY lady made it for her!!
BEACH PICTURES (the few that we took):

Ready for a day in the ocean and sand!

This little boy had so much fun with his trucks and animals in the sand.

About as far as I made it in, but Dru took her out as far as she wanted! Sweet Daddy!

Me and my sweet little lady!

Every night at dinner, she wanted to be out by the boats. She thought we must have been at the lake because she'd point to them and say, "Daddy's boat."

My precious family.

Kirk family of four. B can't wait for that little sister!

Precious Bennett.

I love the beach!

Best friends!

I love this time of day/night at the beach, although I'm not sure why I'm leaning in so much!

First, I have to tell you how much I love reading your blog! I'm friends with Holly Muncie and have recently started my blogging life. I just delivered our first son in April and don't know what I would do without the blogs to get me through those late night feedings! Anyway, on to my question--- would you mind to give me the name of the etsy site? Your little girl is absolutely adorable and is always dressed so cute. I'm hoping to get Blake an outfit for the Univ. of Illinois homecoming game. I dearly miss living in the south and can't find anyone up here that does cute monograms or custom clothes. I can sew but haven't invested in a monogramming machine yet. Thanks in advance for your help!
