Simms & Lilla

Simms had a great time in Auburn Saturday with her baby cousin, Lilla. She was so proud of herself that she was able to hold her! I was so proud of her that very few jealousy issues arose, especially when I had Simms and Lilla by myself for a little while when Becca and Grover were in the game. Hopefully that trend will continue thru January!! Lilla is such a sweet baby and barely makes a sound! These pictures aren't very good because I took my "bad" camera with me to Auburn. We had a great time and are thrilled for another win!

I had my 23 week checkup on Friday. Overall it went well, which I am so thankful for. But let's just say that my time on the scale really left me feeling, um, HUGE! My doctor, sweet lady that she is, told me that since I am so petite, she needed me to put on weight, but 7 lbs. in one month leaves me feeling FAR from petite! That puts us at 12 lbs. total since my appointment in May. Dru has gotten a kick out of it, however, so I guess all I can do is laugh with him. I am pregnant after all. Some things have to change though, like my sugary cereal I love having in the morning, afternoon, and even before bed. Yeah! I had oatmeal this morning. All seemed well with Cope, so I guess he is pleased with his mommy! I go back at 28 weeks, and will be retested for gestational diabetes then.

This pregnancy is flying by. We are about to get started on Cope's nursery and Simms' new room, then before we know it, Simms' 2nd birthday will be here! Then Thanksgiving, Christmas, then it will be time for Cope to arrive! I can't believe it!

Looking forward to another weekend in Auburn and hopefully another WIN!!

Wow! It is flying by! That is great that Simms was sweet with Lilla around. Hopefully that is a good sign for the future. Cope will be here before you know it!

Your daughter is sooo cute and you dress her in the most precious outfits I have seen. I know you don't know me but if you don't mind me asking, where do you get her cute bows and dresses from??
