Because we are going to pick up our sweet girl today!

She has been in Montgomery with Gigi and Papa for a few days. We hear she has had a great time. A few trips to Auburn and a few to Papa's office to see the puppies and kittens sounds like a great time for a little girl! Not to mention all of the playing she and Gigi have been doing! We can't wait to see her!
Cope slept for the first time unswaddled last night!

It went OK.

He is never swaddled for naps, so I didn't figure it would be very different, but it was. I looked at Dru this morning and said, "He is getting swaddled tonight." Of course, Dru thinks we should just stick with it, and I'm sure that is what will happen, but boy am I used to him not waking up at all during the night. He slept fine from 9 until 1. Woke up at 1 just stirring around, but I didn't get him out of his bed. He woke up again at 3:30 so I fed him (he hasn't had this feeding during the night in at least 6 or 7 weeks), put him back down then he was up again at 4:50 and each hour after that until we got up at 7.

He was never fussy; actually just the opposite. He was pumping his legs like his tummy may have been bothering him, and I did eat spicy chicken last night, and some cucumbers in my salad, which are pretty big no-no's on the nursing moms menu! I'll learn one day I suppose.
Here's to hoping tonight goes better.
And these are always on my menu!

I love that sweet picture of Cope grinning. And his feet are edible! I bet Simms had fun with her grandparents. She might not want to come home!
mmmmm toes ;)
Fun trip for Simms! Cope has such a cute face! I want to squeeze it!
