Her class performed some sweet Easter songs before the hunt began!
The
Simms found lots of eggs..although I had to tell her it was ok to keep putting eggs in her basket. Polite little thing would pick one up and think she had to be done. I told her this was a time it was ok to be selfish :)
Simms with her favorite friend, Addison. They will be at FRA together next year..hopefully in the same class..
Working so hard on her butterfly craft..
We had our church egg hunt on Saturday. I was so happy Cope had an egg hunt to participate in as well! He was SO, SO excited about it! I helped organize it so Daddy was in charge that morning. He left Simms bow out (which is ok..I guess..as long as she doesn't get used to it) and he brought them in his Jeep. He is such a fun daddy! The hunt was a lot of fun. There was a very sweet story done at the start of it using a hand blown egg that was then cracked and the kids saw that it was empty & comparing it to the empty tomb. Great comparison!!! After the hunt we had a fun Easter party with lots of sweet treats! I am so thankful for our church!
Simms & Mary Margaret..
I compromised and let Cope dress like a BIG boy for the egg hunt, since he was going to be in lace the next day :)
His age group got to start the hunt a few minutes before the other kids..he was on a mission too!
Simms was ready for this hunt! She was full force until all the eggs were found!
Such a big boy!
The Easter Bunny came!!
Enjoying the fun Easter Party after the egg hunt! Love Simms' left hand in her lap!
