June & July 2014

Lazy days of summer! Our favorite!! So many fun things to do and some days nothing to do! I love it!
Clarke took lots of baths as usual!
Simms had seen a rock garden on TV with decorated rocks and wanted to do one.. So we did! Fun and easy! Those rocks are still out there too!
Simms finally lost her first tooth on June 25! She was SO excited!
I began finding selfies of Cope on my phone. Haha. This is a recurring problem.
Birdie had her 1 year checkup and everything looked wonderful except her anemia was borderline and returning. Continuing iron drops!
Lots of weekends on beautiful Lake Martin !
This little monster had a horrible case of swimmers ear the afternoon we left for the lake for 10 days!
Simms and Lilla were so happy to be together for a week for the 4th!
Cope loves the paddle board!

The 4th of July week is always SO much fun with Dru's family and aunts, uncles and cousins from Florida!

This baby loved watching all the volleyball action. Everyone needs to experience the intensity of Dru's family during their weeklong tournament. It's nuts.
Sweet sisters during a volleyball game!
Cope and Uncle Gee tubing all the way to Chimney Rock!
After our week of lake fun it was back home! So thrilled our fun friends and neighbors, the Parhams, have a new pool! We did lots of swimming there!
Cope earned his very first trophy!
And VBS began too!
Looked outside one day and saw Cope in my urn. Typical. So thankful for this boy!
Clarke has loved being 1!
I was able to get away to Auburn for a night to spend it with the best friends in the world. They are so special to me. I went 18 years without knowing them.. Then BAM! They are a huge part of my life AND my life when I met Dru. They were there from the very beginning! So thankful for college and this group.
We had Birdie's one year panel shots done. So beautiful.
And she turned 13 months on July 20!
Her lips are really that kissable. All the time.
She also became very steady and consistent with her walking in July!
My sweet Simms before I left for a Girls Night Summer dinner!
Simms went to the American Girl Hotel to spend the night for Lilla's 5th birthday!
We met them at the lake the next day! Our tub at the lake is the best for bubble baths. The cousins have lots of fun in it!
Simms and Emily in their matching Jammies Aunt Becca got them for the party at the hotel!
Swimming at the Kirks. We did that LOTS!
And with that summer was coming to an end!
So Sissy and I took the girls to get pedis and Japanese food. Then had a slumber party! It was a great summer! Next up... School starts again!
