Today it was finally breezy enough and not quite as suffocating outside, so Simms was able to play for a little while until I could take the heat no longer.

She is such a funny little girl. She is either walking around with one of her babies wrapped up in a blanket playing mommy, or she is playing with toy horses, trucks, etc. She truly loves horses just like her daddy and the trucks and cars come from playing with her boy cousin everyday! At least she is well-rounded!

Simms is named after 2 very special Marthas. My Meme, Martha Frances, and Dru's Goosie, Martha Frances. We didn't know their names were EXACTLY the same until after we'd named Simms. Sweet Goosie passed away last week. We drove down to Florida for her funeral and were able to spend several days celebrating her life with Dru's family. Dru and I have talked about how fortunate we feel that in her little life Simms was able to spend time with Goosie on several occasions. Goosie was a very special lady and was always so sweet to me. She and Dru's grandfather (Dru's namesake) were married for 58 years! How special! We hope to visit with Pah again very soon when Lilla is born!

Pregnancy update: I went to the doctor Tuesday and surprisingly weighed the same thing I did last month! I was so happy. My doctor, however, told me she needed me to put on weight! I did tell her I'd been eating LOTS! We find out in less than a week if this baby is a "she" or a "he". We are so excited! My next appointment is August 14 and I'll have to do the 1 hour glucose test then since I had gestational diabetes when I was pregnant with Simms. I PRAY that I pass. I'll have to be tested several times after that. Here is a belly shot at almost 15 weeks (tomorrow).

I love your belly...that is NON-existent...P.S. Merrill & I can't wait to hear what baby G (#2) will be!!
girl - don't worry about your weight. I didn't gain anything until 18 - 20 weeks. As long as that belly is growing you are fine!
BTW- got the stuff I ordered from ETSY and it's ADORABLE!
you are just a doll... and so is that sweet Simms! hope you are feeling great and that we get to see you some during football season.. (if its not too hot)
Not to worry. I didn't gain any with this baby for awhile either...in fact, I lost over 5 lbs first and then, had to gain that back as well. Your belly is precious! Can't wait to find out what you are having and glad you are feeling well!!!
I was thinking about you today and how you told me that your appointment was coming up.... I'm so excited. Sorry about Dru's Goosie.
you look great!
