Happy 2nd Birthday, Sweet Simms!!

2 years ago today, at 6:31 p.m. to be exact, we welcomed the most amazing gift into our lives..Martha Simms Goodwin. To say it has been an incredible 2 years is a huge understatement. She has changed our lives in every way possible, and we love her more than we can ever express in words.

We started the morning out with cards from mommy and daddy and a yummy breakfast..cinnamon rolls with sprinkles!


And Daddy surprised her with a special balloon..

Then it was off to Meme's for a special lunch before the party..

Soon, it was party time!! We changed her into her dress and she was so, so excited!





Simms was so happy when her guests started arriving, especially this one..

We put her hat on (and she left it!!), sang Happy Birthday, and ate delicious cake..



Then it was time to open presents! Our families were so generous to Simms, and we are so grateful! She is a lucky little lady..



After presents, we went outside to play in this, which was on its way back to the rental place after the Kirk's Halloween party (post on it later)..


The party ended with a pinata! What fun these 2 had trying to get it open..



We had a wonderful day celebrating this precious daughter of ours. We know she feels so loved too. Thanks to everyone who came! Happy 2nd birthday sweet girl!
