You are 1 year old now, and I can hardly believe it. I was fine yesterday {on your actual birthday} because I was so busy, but today, we've spent the morning just the two of us, and I've had a few "moments." What a year. I will never ever ever be able to express to you how much I love you. You are my heart-it's as simple as that. Thank you for being the sweet baby boy I have always dreamed of having, then as I got older, began praying to have. Amazing that the Lord always knew that you would join our family. He created YOU for THIS family. Thank you Lord. You bring so much JOY to so many people Cope. An answered prayer. A precious son. An adorable brother. We all love you so much.
December 30, 2009- The day you were born. I'd love to re-live that day. It was very, very special.
December 30, 2010- Your first birthday! What a handsome little boy you are!
You woke up really early, as usual, and opened up your birthday card. Simms was in Montgomery, so it was special time for you, me and Daddy.
Later that day, we had your party! Lots of sweet family members came! They all love you so much and gave you some really fun and useful presents!
