Our sweet little boy had his tubes put in early this morning. Besides his anger that developed in our pre-op room an hour before surgery over not getting a bottle {this included screaming and crying for an entire hour} everything was great. It definitely was a teary moment for me when they walked off with him. And I certainly don't like seeing one of my children in a hospital gown, but I had complete peace about the whole procedure! And I know that came from my prayers {and ya'lls-so thanks}! He was in the OR no longer than 15 minutes, and then we spent a little over an hour in a recovery room, where I was very tempted to fall asleep myself. {I reminded myself my time is coming-all 4 of my wisdom teeth are being removed in 2 weeks-help.me.now.} So glad this is over with and here's to hoping it was the best decision for Cope and his health!
These were before surgery. Poor thing-we gave him this water bottle to play with, and he thought he was going to get to drink it-so that didn't go over well!

I'm so glad that it's over with and he's home. Enjoy the snuggles and give Cope kisses for us. Hope he stays healthy ;-)

oh my goodness i could just eat him up!!!!!!!!! those cheeks and those eyes just melt my heart!!!! glad it went well and that everyone is doing ok.
he is so sweet. something about him really reminds me a sam...i am not sure if it the hair, eyes, or their cute rolls! So glad he is doing ok. hopefully, this will make life better with no more infections!
Oh I loved those squished faces asleep in the car seat...those cheeks and lips remind me of Drakes when he falls asleep too. But it gets sad because they get older and get skinny! But what a sweet little boy!!! And that picture in the hospital gown was absolutely precious! WAR EAGLE by the way!
