May 1, 2009- Positive Pregnancy Test- So excited and thankful!

May 22, 2009- Saw your precious heartbeat for the first time- Happiness, relief and most of all gratefulness.

July 22, 2009- Found out that YOU, this baby we'd been loving and praying for for over 2 months, were our baby BOY!

December 30, 2009- Saw your beautiful, precious face and heard your sweet cry for the first time, loving you more than we ever thought possible.

March 17, 2010- 11 wonderful weeks later, we feel such joy to spend our days and nights loving you, our sweet, sweet son!
Other news around our household:
This little lady is in the beginning stages of potty training. We are letting her go at her own pace, and she's doing great! I know the famous 3 day method works, and I'm a big supporter of it and had planned on trying it, but at this point I think Simms and I both would loose our minds being cooped up for 3 full days! So we are doing it our own way and for now its working fine!

These 2 kiddos made Easter eggs today and had so much fun. Simms really concentrates hard on tasks in front of her now, and I think this comes from going to school and doing projects, etc around other children. Their eggs turned out cute. Gigi, she wanted to make sure we did the pink one for you! And I'll let you guess which one is for her Daddy. She worked on his the longest.

Super sweet post. And, we potty trained Ella at her own pace as well. I think it's easier on everyone (everyone being you and her:)OH! And, we don't count the "fits pitched" anymore either!
I also agree on potty training at your own pace. I think we'd go crazy staying put for 3 days. We did that with our son, but it took three different times. He would do great and then slack off on the #2 part. I was so fed up I finally asked if he did that b/c he knew I would clean it up and he said yes. I made him clean it up and he never did it again. SO, I say that not to discourage at all, but IF anyone gets to that point in potty training (where things have been going great for weeks and then goes backwards) to make their child clean up their own mess and it will give them a new perspective into what we are willing to do for them. It's not easy b/c we know we can do a better and cleaner job, but sometimes they need a little push. Good luck!! We are going to potty train Sophie this summer. Introducing it some now, but our schedules are too busy to fully commit.
I love the easter eggs. We potty trained MSN the week of her 2nd birthday...she got pee pee down in the 3 days.... 9 months later we still aren't going #2, so going at her own pace is a good idea...she's going to do that anyway.
I cannot belive how much Cope has changed! he is so cute...but I cannot tell...who does he look like?
I ditto everyone and agree, you HAVE to do it at your own pace and EVERY child is so different anyways, that there can never really be a method that will work for everyone. Keep it up though!
