2 Months & 28 Months

2 months old sweet boy! You are getting so big. I can't believe 2 months have already gone by. You are sleeping 6.5-7.5 hours each night (thank you). You are still nursing and taking formula too. You are in size 1 diapers and 3 month clothes! You love listening to Praise Baby, just like your sister.
You have been smiling at us for a few weeks now, and you always smile when your sister talks to you or kisses you; you love her so much!
We also love the cooing you've begun doing. You are such a sweet cuddler and rub a piece of my hair every time I nurse you, and you are always looking up at me with those big blue eyes.

It has brought tears to my eyes several times because I am so overcome with my love for you. You are an incredibly laid back and easy baby.
We love you so very much and thank the Lord for your precious life.

Oh Simms! 28 months already? You are definitely growing up into a feisty, sweet, strong-willed, loving little girl. So many traits that seem to be so different, but that's what makes you YOU, and we love you for that.

We have had a rough month discipline-wise, which has left us praying lots for patience and wisdom. You have such a great, clear vocabulary. You love to "read" books to us and show us the pictures like a little teacher. You still love going to school 2 mornings a week, and you may start going 3 soon.

You clasp your hands together so tightly and sing "God our Father" during the blessing. You love your brother and are always deeply concerned about whether he needs a blanket, a bottle, a paci etc. You love your daddy more than anyone, and it is so obvious and special. Of course how could you not? He is an incredible daddy to you. You are my little shadow and I LOVE that.

You play with your babies and tea set daily, and call your tea set your tea party, and say to me, "Mommy, let's make a tea party." You burp, feed, swaddle and rock your babies but you love getting dirty outside too. We love you so much and are so thankful that we get to call you our little girl.
